Refresh Your Face: Top 5 Morning Affordable Routines
Mornings set the tone for the day, and what better way to start than with a refreshing face routine? Your face is the canvas upon which you paint your day, so why not treat it with care and attention? Here’s a list of five essential steps that I find invigorating for my skin and leave me feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on whatever the day throws my way. Better yet they are affordable items!
Ice Cold Water Splash:
Nothing wakes up my skin quite like a splash of ice-cold water. This simple yet effective step helps to tighten pores, reduce puffiness, and kickstart circulation. The shock of cold water stimulates your senses, leaving you feeling instantly refreshed and awake. Plus, it's a natural way to give your skin a morning boost without harsh chemicals or additives.
2. Under Eye Brightening Gel Pads:
There are many gel pads out there but the one I regularly use is Florence by Mills. My daughter who is 13 showed me Mills eye brightening pads and I was like “What does this actress know about dark circles and under-eye bags?” But I tried them to indulge my very intelligent daughter and they are refreshing! They have hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, adding a shine-free face. I’ve tried them all but my two favorites are Floating Under the Eyes Depuffing Gel Pads and Surfing Under the Eyes Hydrating Under Eye Treatment Gel Pads. They feel great and I even sleep with them on sometimes.
3. IT Gel Cream Oil-Free Moisturizer:
Love this oil-free IT Gel Cream which hydrates the face without making it look shiny and feels so good on my face. I'm new to this product, but I love what I’m feeling so far. Time will tell if it can help brighten my complexion as well. Love the oil control since I have very oily skin.
4. Derma-E Vitamin C Glow Face Oil:
I started using Derma-E Vitamin C Glow about 4 months ago and so far love it! It smells so good and makes my skin feel soft and absorbs pretty quickly so that I'm not super shiny. NOW, this might be my most important step out of them all and I never forget to put sunscreen on. Lightweight and sheer, it layers seamlessly under makeup or can be worn alone for a natural, healthy-looking finish. I love, love, love this sunscreen. It also lasts a long time.
